        For all Kahrs floors that require it we are offering FREE Kahrs Underlay worth £43 per 16.5 m² roll. This offer is applied for every 16.5m² of Kahrs flooring you purchase. For example: 16.5 m² of Kahrs flooring = 1 Free rolls 33 m² of Kahrs flooring = 2 Free rolls 49.5 m² of Kahrs flooring = 3 Free rolls, etc Note: If your total flooring requirement falls within a roll amount you will need to purchase an additional roll separately due to the fact they only come in 16.5m² units.

        How to measure your room?

        Before you can work out the cost of your new floor you will need to calculate how much you need. Below we show a few examples of different shaped rooms as well as some important points to note.

        Do I need to add extra for wastage?

        Yes, with all jobs there is always some anticipated wastage. We recommend adding 5% to your final calculation. Simply multiply your final total area by 1.05. This is the quantity of flooring you should purchase.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure a Rectangular Room
        Rectangular Room:  Measure the length and width of your room and multiply them together. For example if your room is 3 metres long by 3 meters wide, the total area will be 9 metres square as 3 x 3 = 9.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure an L Shaped Room
        L Shaped Room: Split the room into rectangular sections as shown in the diagram. Multiply the length and width of both sections to find the area. Then, add the two areas together to find your total area.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure a Complicated Room
        More Complicated Room: Simply follow the method from the previous example by splitting your room into as many rectangles as required. Then multiply the length and width of each section and add them all together.

        Description

        Kahrs Oak Citadelle

        If you are looking for an impressive yet more understated floor within this collection then the grey stained Kahrs Oak Citadelle engineered wood flooring will suit your home perfectly. The colour variations within each individual board are more subtle than the rustic country varieties and there are less knots and cracks. However there is still a wealth of character to be found in this floor which has been handscraped and finished with natural oil. The bevel on all four sides of each plank adds a final classic touch. Oak Citadelle comes with a 30 year domestic guarantee and utilises a tongue and groove installation system.

        For oiled floors Kahrs recommends an additional coat of Satin Oil is applied after installation.
