        For all Kahrs floors that require it we are offering FREE Underlay worth £25.50 per 15 m² roll. This offer is applied for every 15m² of Kahrs flooring you purchase.         How to measure your room?

        Before you can work out the cost of your new floor you will need to calculate how much you need. Below we show a few examples of different shaped rooms as well as some important points to note.

        Do I need to add extra for wastage?

        Yes, with all jobs there is always some anticipated wastage. We recommend adding 5% to your final calculation. Simply multiply your final total area by 1.05. This is the quantity of flooring you should purchase.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure a Rectangular Room
        Rectangular Room:  Measure the length and width of your room and multiply them together. For example if your room is 3 metres long by 3 meters wide, the total area will be 9 metres square as 3 x 3 = 9.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure an L Shaped Room
        L Shaped Room: Split the room into rectangular sections as shown in the diagram. Multiply the length and width of both sections to find the area. Then, add the two areas together to find your total area.
        One Stop Flooring - How to Measure a Complicated Room
        More Complicated Room: Simply follow the method from the previous example by splitting your room into as many rectangles as required. Then multiply the length and width of each section and add them all together.

The boards which have a warm golden colour are crafted from the finest oak and feature handscraping and brushing in addition to saw marks. This floor comes with a 30 year residential guarantee and utilises the Kahrs Woodloc system for simple installation.

        For oiled floors Kahrs recommends an additional coat of Satin Oil Matt is applied after installation.
